This fabric is specifically calendered to be down-proof for standard 750 fill-power down. The tight weave and flattened surface prevent quills from poking through. However, for extremely high fill-power (800+) with very fine down, we still recommend using a lightweight nylon taffeta inner lining for maximum security, though it is often not necessary with this shell.
Can I use this for puffers, or just shell jackets?
